To pick up on a long-abandoned thread, this is a follow-up to my last post about my graduation road trip around Scotland with my family in the summer of 2018. The previous post was our trip from Skye to Ullapool.
I read the Miracle Morning for the first time about 4 years ago. This winter, while contemplating how I can be a better, healthier, more successful person in 2020, I remembered the book and picked up a copy to read again.
As everyone is now painfully aware, things are weird. Everyone’s lives have changed. I’m now working 100% from home, like many people, and have a lot more time on my hands.
Last week, some other grad students in my department met for a couple of hours to discuss time management in grad school.
New year, new me. So, back on the productivity bandwagon?
Last year, my goal was pretty much to get into a PhD program and start that. Goal achieved! Last year was a big year for transition: I was working part-time jobs in my hometown and then I moved to California to start grad school. Now that I’m here, I am looking forward to establishing better…
I discovered some fun language facts this week and just wanted to share.
So I haven’t been updating this blog very much, unsurprisingly. I have officially started grad school! We’re about to start the 7th week of my first quarter here at UC San Diego. It’s been really intense, but we have a long weekend this week, so I am trying to catch up on a few things.
We decided last-minute to change our plans so we could include the Grand Canyon on our trip.
