On my first full day in Switzerland, we got up bright and early and did three cities in one day.
The first city we went to was Bern. We walked across a bridge to get a view of the skyline.
When we went to Bern, you couldn’t really see the Alps, but I got the picture below from the train on another day. Bern’s backdrop is amazing!
We walked through the botanical gardens and there were a bunch of people drawing, which was really cool.
We walked through the Old Town, which has absolutely beautiful buildings. Also, there weren’t any people around, so it was really peaceful.
We went across the river and got a really great view of the Old Town. This was probably the best view of Bern.
After that, we made a quick stop at the Munster and then got on a train to Luzern.
This picture was of our view for lunch. It was pretty great.
Also, there was a really cool medieval bridge in the center of town, so we of course had to go across it.
Our next and final stop was Zurich. Zurich is much bigger (plus we were super tired by the time we got there). We spent most of our time sitting by the lake and watching birds.
